The Origin Story
Saeed Hareb is an engineer by training and an investor by necessity. After graduating with a degree in Electrical engineering, he spent ten years analyzing real estate markets before making his first property purchase.
The delay wasn’t due to lack of capital. It was due to lack of data. Every property pitch was marketing, not analysis. Every projection was optimistic, never conservative. Every claim was faith-based, not fact-based.
So he built his own models. He taught himself financial analysis. He created spreadsheets to calculate IRR, DSCR, and cap rates. He audited contracts line by line. He visited construction sites to verify build quality.
Other investors started asking for his analysis. Brokers called him “too analytical.” Developers called him “difficult.” He took both as compliments.
The Real Assets Lab is the formalization of that decade of self-education. It’s the system he built for himself, now available to any investor who refuses to invest on faith.
